Magnificent men and their flying machines
In aid of the Year 4 charity, Cancer Research UK, pupils were asked to purchase a piece of A4 – from which they could construct a paper aeroplane. Years 4-8 took it in turns to launch their designs (by hand) and prizes were distributed accordingly.
The only thing that mattered was distance travelled.

The Bull's Head, Barnes
The private room in this place is one of the best I've come across. 32 fitted comfortably for a sit down Christmas dinner on one long table. Other arrangements would cater for many more. We had a 'feast' menu so everything was placed in the middle and we happily helped ourselves. We brought our own Champagne for a corkage fee which kept the cost down for all (plus no fake bubbles), not sure if they do that on a regular basis. Beautiful views of the river and balcony area for a summer do too.

No room hire cost or minimum spend for a December Wed night. Events Manager couldn't have been more helpful. Well worth checking out. Also a great music venue.
